Yarmouk University is a public university located in Irbid City in northern Jordan. It was established by a Royal Decree in 1976,the University’s mission comprises three components: to provide quality education to its students in the various fields of specialization and at different levels of achievements ranging from the undergraduate levels to the M. Sc. and Ph. D. levels, and currenty with more then 2300 employes
Yarmouk University has 15 faculties, 16 scientific research centers, 104 research and teaching centers and 9 research incubators. The academic and staff number nearly 2300 and the total number of students is 41,000. YU has cooperation agreements with nearly 100 institutions worldwide.
Among the centers at Yarmouk Universities, two centers will be involved mainly in the project: Refugees, Displaced Persons & Forced Migration Studies Center, and Women studies Center.
Yarmouk University as an applicant will be responsible for all administration of the project, accounting and financial management, to insure the right application for the funds under the requirements of funding agency, but also crucial with it´s Academic Experience and Scientific knowledge to validate the themes for the programme and the content to be base of the digital activity kits.
